Lavinia, who founded WiBT Women in Blockchain Talks, recently became a legal trailblazer when she obtained a proprietary injunction over NFTs stolen from her wallet. This was the first time that an English court recognised an NFT as property.
Lavinia energised CFAAR's Breakfast Club with her passion for creating greater inclusivity and diversity in the world of blockchain, and her hope that this decentralised technology will bring parity and opportunity to billions across the globe who do not currently enjoy some or any of the benefits of traditional financial services. Women in Blockchain Talks aims to help bring 50,000 women into the blockchain space by 2023.
